The Community Foundation is pleased to announce that through its 2025 scholarship process, 162 individual scholarships, totaling $456,650, were awarded to local students. The Foundation is honored to uphold the legacies of generous donors passionate about investing in Huntington County students. These invaluable scholarships will support students’ educational ambitions and career goals. Individual scholarship announcements can be viewed on the Foundation’s Facebook Page.

“The success of our scholarship process is a direct reflection of the generosity of our donors,” noted Foundation Program Manager, Amber Rensberger. “Their support doesn’t just fund education — it fuels dreams, opens doors and creates lasting impact in the lives of students. Each scholarship awarded is a powerful reminder of how a community can come together to invest in its future.”
Among the scholarship recipients, 50 were graduating high school seniors, 34 are students currently enrolled in college, and 3 are preparing to enter graduate school. Scholars represented several communities across Huntington County. 15 scholars reside in Warren, 4 represent Andrews and Markle, 8 reside in Roanoke, and over 50 applicants represent Huntington overall.
The Foundation deeply appreciates the generosity of valued donors who have established scholarships to invest in the success of local students. These scholarships represent more than financial support; they are a reflection of the donors’ lives, stories, passions and impact on our community. We are pleased to honor their legacies through the cultivation of their scholarships.
2026 scholarship applications will open January 1, 2026.
