Immediate Needs Grant

We understand that Non-Profits can face unexpected expenses that don’t fit their budget or our traditional grant deadlines. That’s why we created the Immediate Needs Grant, to help Non-Profits serving Huntington County with immediate, unexpected expenses.

The Immediate Needs program is intended to provide funding for any charitable organization or cause serving Huntington County that requires immediate support for smaller projects. Grants will be less than or equal to $1,500. For projects that exceed $1500, the Immediate Needs Grant will be “last dollar in.” Projects should be for an immediate purpose only. Organizations are limited to one Immediate Needs Grant per calendar year.

Any charitable organization or cause serving Huntington County can apply for funding through the Immediate Needs program. Organizations or causes that do not have an approved 501(c)(3) charitable status by the IRS will need a fiscal sponsor who is a 501(c)(3) as their grant administrator.

Criteria: Immediate Needs Grants will be awarded based on the merit and immediate purpose of the project.

Submission Deadline: Applications can be submitted at any time during the calendar year. However, grant funding is limited, and the application will close once funds have been exhausted.
