Capacity Building Workshop
Beyond the Ask
Workshop Overview
Fundraising is about more than making an ask. It starts with building relationships, telling your organization’s story well and helping people understand why your work matters. This interactive session will cover practical fundraising strategies nonprofit leaders can use to strengthen donor relationships and grow support for their organizations.
The session will touch on donor cultivation and stewardship, major gifts, capital campaigns, grant writing and storytelling. Participants will also hear real-world examples of what has worked, what has not and lessons learned along the way.
Connection and Practical Application
This session is designed to give participants ideas they can actually use. Nonprofit leaders will have the chance to think about their own fundraising efforts, talk through common challenges and identify practical next steps for their organizations.
Participants should leave with a clearer understanding of how to build stronger donor relationships, communicate their impact and approach fundraising with more purpose and confidence.
