The Foundation is pleased to announce the creation of the Ann & Paul Siegfried Community Fund, which exists to support local charitable organizations, projects and initiatives through the Foundation’s yearly grant cycles. Ann and Paul are committed to making Huntington County a better place to live, and they desire to give back to a community that has provided a wonderful place for them to call home. They chose to establish an unrestricted fund as it will adapt to community needs for generations to come alongside the Foundation’s efforts to help make Huntington County a place where people want to live and raise their families.

“Ann and Paul’s generosity is a reflection of their deep love for our community,” noted Matt Ditzler, Community Foundation Executive Director. “The Foundation is grateful for their trust and partnership.”
Ann was born and raised in Bluffton, Indiana, while Paul grew up in Milford, Indiana. Ann graduated from Indiana University and Paul graduated from Purdue University before moving to Huntington. The couple married in 1998.
Ann was dedicated to her career as an English teacher at Crestview Middle School and Huntington North High School. Following her retirement in 2004, she served as an Education Presenter for Stop Child and Abuse, a Test Administrator for the National Assessment of Educational Progress and a Sales & Marketing Representative for the new Huntington Theatre.
Paul served as an award-winning Photographer and Sports Editor for the Huntington Herald-Press from 1987 to 2008. He currently serves as a Communications Coordinator for Our Lady of Victory Missionary Sisters.
While Ann and Paul did not grow up in Huntington, they share that Huntington became their home, and they take pride in investing in the community through volunteering their time, abilities and passion for various local organizations and projects.
Ann has served as Board Member for LaFontaine Arts Council, the Huntington County Visitors Bureau and United Way of Huntington County, Volunteer for the Community Foundation of Huntington County and United with Love Food Pantry, Former Member of the Chi Chapter of Tri Kappa, Founding Member of the Huntington Arts Initiative, Inc., and a Volunteer and Member of Ss Peter and Paul Catholic Church. Paul has served as a Board Member of Huntington County Baseball and a Founding Member of Huntington County Honors. He is a Graduate of Huntington County Leadership, volunteers for numerous community organizations, and was inducted into the Huntington North Athletic Hall of Fame as a contributor in 2011.
Ann and Paul believe there are several essential areas for community growth, including education, arts, leadership and civic involvement. Through the establishment of their meaningful fund, they wish to support organizations working to enrich Huntington County both now and in the future.
The Foundation is honored to uphold the Siegfried’s longstanding commitment to serving our community and is eager to see how their fund will impact Huntington County for generations to come. Those interested in contributing to the Ann & Paul Siegfried Community Fund can donate here.
